You can use blue tablecloths and even curtains too. Otherwise, bright colors are said to insinuate good appetite for a person. This must be the reason why most restaurants have bright colors like orange or yellow as the theme of their interior design. It invites people to eat more.

Last, you may want to cut down the food proportions you get from your table. One easy way to do this would be to use smaller plates instead of big ones for every meal. Instead of using traditional plates, you may use those plates used for salads. This will trick your mind as it makes you think that you have already eaten enough in one sitting. On top of that, people tend to get tired with putting food on the plate more than once.
